Amie Chilson founded Girl Powered Real Estate, Inc. in 2005.
 After realizing her passion to help single women empower themselves financially through the purchase of their first home, Amie took the next step and created the concept for Girl Powered Real Estate. Girl Powered Real Estate, Inc. started off as a program in July, 2005 and incorporated in January, 2006. With its continuing success, Amie plans to build Girl Powered Real Estate, Inc. into a nationwide franchise to inspire more single women to become home owners and grow their financial independence.
A Real Estate Consultant with Keller Williams Realty in Campbell, California, Amie has been helping people buy and sell homes since September, 2004. Her first year in the Real Estate industry was record-setting for Rookie Agents, and she completed 21 transactions within her first full year to win Keller Williams Realty "Rookie of the Year" Award for 2005. Amie graduated from a Walla Walla College in Washington State with a bachelor degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing. She's also earned her life and health insurance license and her Broker License in Real Estate. She has spent ten successful years in professional sales and marketing fields, such as: newspaper, advertising hi-tech, insurance, financial and real estate. Amie is an active member with IBI Global, SVASE, and the Silicon Valley Capital Club. She has also started an Investment Group for Women called "The Unemployables” and she invests in real estate domestically and internationally. She is also a consultant for a Non-Profit Foundation that really hits home for her: Girls For a Change. In January 2007 Amie hosts an inspiring weekly radio podcast show that interviews female celebrity athletes, called “Women Who Win™”. Amie remains true to a strong balance of "work/play" ethics and enjoys spending time golfing, reading, snowboarding, shooting photography, running marathons, and traveling annually to foreign countries, (such as China, India, Singapore, Mexico, Italy, France, Costa Rica, and her favorite - Spain). "In this lifetime my goal is to awaken a new breed of women" says she. Girl Powered Real Estate, Inc. is just one way she intends to make if happen. Amongst her many life philosophies, Amie sticks by her principles and mixes them within her personal life and business. "It simplifies who I am, how I operate and what I believe," she says. Doing what 'is right' and understanding the karmic values of the golden rule is a practice she respects. Mediocrity is a dirty word to Amie, and she makes it a point to defy it daily.
